The 8th Annual Toronto Tango Marathon will take place from 11 to 13 January 2018. Attendees will have the opportunity to take part in workshops for all levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer, be sure to attend the festival and explore the rich passion of this captivating dance style.

World-renowned maestros and outstanding DJs have been invited to keep festival goers dancing until the wee hours of the morning. Whether you are interested in practicas, milongas, performances or other types of tango dancing, you will be able to find something you are interested in.

Some of the DJs who will be at the festival include Edmond Bardhi, Koichiro Suzuki, Jean-Sebastien Viard, Ivan Aleksandrov and Alberto Ramos Cordero. Besides lots of dancing and delicious refreshments, you will also be able to move throughout beautiful venues for the three days and three nights of non-stop tango.

The location of the event is 3141 Wharton Way, Mississauga, Ontario.

Note that there will not be physical passes for the event. The event organizers will have a list of people that have registered and they will be checking people off at the door. The Full Pass early bird special is $105 and it is available until December 15, 2018. After this, the Full Pass will cost $120. The Weekend for Beginners pass, which includes Saturday and Sunday workshops, is $125. The six-hour workshops for beginners will immerse you in the fundamentals of Argentine Tango and the workshops have been designed for people who have never danced the tango before. There are also a la carte tickets for individual milongas available at the door. These tickets range from $25 – $50.
