The Toronto Christmas Market will be held from Thursday, November 15 to Sunday, December 23 at the Distillery Historic District. From Tuesday to Thursday, it will be open from 12 noon to 9 pm, on Saturday it will be open from 12 noon to 10 pm, and on Sunday it will be open from 12 noon to 9 pm.

There will be over 400 free performances on the main stage at the event, including singers, cultural dancers, carollers and brass bands. This year’s entertainment schedule is as follows:

Tuesdays:
Traditional Tuesdays – bluegrass, folk, roots, traditional.

Wednesdays:
World Wednesdays – world music, dance, and cultural performances.

Thursdays:
Classical Thursdays – seasonal opera, oratorio, and cross-over classical performances.

Fridays:
Friday night jazz – holiday jazz and swing.

Saturdays:
Pop/variety Saturdays – emerging artists (afternoon) and featured artists (evening), performing pop, rock, adult contemporary, blues and more.

Sundays:
Ensemble Sundays – instrumental ensembles (afternoon), vocal ensembles and choirs (evening).

There will also be daily Santa’s Elves Sing-Alongs, Christmas Carollers roaming throughout the market and performing regularly on the main stage, as well as a daily carolling sing-along from Tuesday to Sunday at 6 pm on the main stage.

Some of the activities that you and your family will delight in include the Heart of Christmas, which is a heart-shaped sculpture by Studio Rosenblatt, a massive Christmas tree, Santa’s House as well as the Family Entertainment Zone, among others.
