From the 7th to the 8th of March 2020, Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium is set to play host to the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series. A weekend of world-class rugby and infamous dressing up, this annual global sporting event is best known for its dynamism, entertainment and all-round fan engagement.

With Fiji claiming the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series championship title for 2018 – 2019, fifteen core teams will participate in each round of this year’s series. 2020’s core teams include Wales, Scotland, South Africa, USA, Samoa, New Zealand, Kenya, Spain, Ireland, France, Fiji, England, Australia, Argentina and most importantly, Canada.
The women’s competition is set to increase from six to eight rounds – a first in the history of the HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series. Six of these will be combined men’s and women’s events with the men’s circuit contested across ten rounds. Tickets for the Sevens range between $109 for ‘General Admission’ to $289 for ‘Premium’.
