The fifth annual Vancouver Halloween Parade & Expo is set to take place from 5 to 7 October. The parade will start at 11 am on Sunday 7 October and will move across 10 blocks on Howe Street, Smithe Street and Granville Street. The festivities will start at 11 am each day. Downtown October is the place to be this Halloween because, rain or shine, everyone is going to be out celebrating art and having fun.
The indoor exhibition expo will take place at UBC Robson Square, which is located at 800 Robson Street. The outdoor performance art gallery plaza, located on West Georgia Street and Howe Street, will be open until 7 pm each evening. Attendees can look forward to a three-day festival that will be packed to the brim with arts, performances, anime, makeup artists, cosplay, dance, comics, games and films.
Families with young children can rest assured that the Vancouver Halloween Parade & Expo 2018 is a family-friendly event. No blood-and-gore costumes are tolerated, so your youngsters can browse the costumes and makeup without getting a fright.
On Friday, 5 October, International Blindfold and Lumi Starlight will be performing on the outdoor stage at Robson Square. Saturday, 6 October will showcase an art exhibition in UBC Robson Square, a video game music show, a cosplay show and music performances.
